Job Title: Site Engineer – Fire and Security Systems
Location: Bengaluru
Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Project Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Site Engineer to expand our Fire and Security Systems Projects Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic systems, a technical understanding of fire detection, alarm, suppression, and security systems (CCTV, access control, etc.), and the ability to build and manage projects with ease.
Key Responsibilities

• Installation Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the installation of fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire pumps, hydrants, standpipes, and fire alarm systems.
• Technical Compliance: Ensure all on-site work complies with project specifications, shop drawings, and NFPA or local fire safety codes.
• Quality Control & Testing: Conduct regular on-site inspections, quality checks, and system testing/commissioning (hydraulic calculations, hydrostatic testing, alarm functional tests).
• Project Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date site reports, installation records, inspection logs, and As-Built drawings for client handover.
• Subcontractor Coordination: Manage and guide installation teams and subcontractors to ensure efficiency and adherence to safety regulations.
• Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges on-site, providing immediate solutions to prevent project delays.
• Coordination: Collaborate with project management teams, clients, and other contractors to ensure seamless integration of fire systems with other MEP services
  
• 🎯 Key Qualifications:
  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  1–2 years of site experience in the fire protection or security systems industry will be added advantage.
  
  Strong communication,technical skills.

  Site Surveying: Ability to conduct thorough site inspections to assess project progress and requirements.
• System Knowledge: Deep understanding of water-based, gas-based, and chemical suppression systems.
• Safety Management: Commitment to upholding on-site safety standards.
  Technical knowledge of fire alarm panels, VESDA, gas suppression, CCTV, access control, etc.
  Self-driven and target-oriented.
